21st and Irving Mixed Use Project Started

Those of us who are old enough to remember ordering a "Fishbowl" at the Gypsy Lounge (or perhaps not remembering) there is a hint of nostalgia to be lost at its closing.  Don't worry, there are things that will be lost with it that we won't want to remember such as frosted tips, Guess Jeans, and Doc Martin Boots.  Progress marches on as work begins in its place to build a four story mixed use building.  The bottom floor is slated for commercial/retail use and the upper stories will be apartments to help ease the housing market squeeze.  Nixon Electric is working with Colas Construction to complete this project near the beginning of the second quarter of 2018.  We have our project foreman Josh Habrich leading our team on site and owner Travis Robison is the Project Manager.
